Re-enable dynamic dns?

Successfully installed amahi. Working well for over 10 days.. superb SW..

Unfortunately, while customizing it, I disable dynamic dns. After that, whenever I logon to the hda, it says something about an application error.
Tried re-starting, but could not recover. Is there an option other than re-install?

I fixed it by doing "service hdactl restart", then re-enabling DDNS once the dashboard page came back up.
