Cant publish or view Calendar???

Postby YOYONL » Sun Aug 08, 2010 3:57 am

Ok there we go again. This is stupid but cant get it fixed on my own. :$

I want to publish an agende from outlook to my amahi testbox... But outlook start complaining that it cant access the server??? Ok strange so i pulled the wiki by my side and started reading.. Did all the things mentioned there tryed: http://calendar/
http://calendar/Agendaname
http://calendar.mydomain.whatever/
http://calendar.mydomain.whatever/

But still it keeps refusing...
Then i tryed to reverse the proces by creating an agenda via my amahi control panel and then trying to get the agenda into my outlook.. Again it says it refused or dropped the connection makeing me more confused...

Ok i thought i drop outlook and see where Vista agenda gets me... But also that program says it cant find anything?? Tryed the same things as with outlook.

Who can help me out here???

Cheers,

can you

Code: Select all

ping calendar
and make sure the IP is that of your HDA?

i don't use Outlook ... but there are two ways to sync in Outlook and it depends on the version.

never versions let you sync to webdav servers (your HDA is a webdav server) and that ought to work better.

also, i do not remember if you have to specify the .ics extension or not. some clients let you, some don't and some expect it and fail otherwise.
My HDA: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz on MSI board, 8GB RAM, 1TBx2+3TBx1
