No DHCP leases shown when using some static ips

At first I saw two devices (A and B) under Setup->Networking->DHCP. But then I gave device B a static ip. Now I can see device B under Setup->Networking->Static IPs, but I just get the "There are no dynamic DHCP leases outstanding at this time." message under Setup->Networking->DHCP. And device A is nowhere to find. (By the way, this forum post is submitted by device A, so it is still up and running.)
