Re: My dyn-DNS adress get me to my routers gui!
Sounds like things are a mess. Did you make some manual configuration changes? If so, you may have broken Amahi.

Re: My dyn-DNS adress get me to my routers gui!
No manual configuration. I had no internet connection to the server when I started the installation, connected it up when I got stuck in a step of installation. The step with the installation code I think.
Should I have OpenDNS addresses as DNS servers in the network card settings?
Is there any config file for the DNS server I can look in?
Is it possible to reinstall the DNS server, could it help?

Re: My dyn-DNS adress get me to my routers gui!
It sounds like the install may not have went as designed. Rather than spend hours trying to fix it, a reinstall may be the best.
Just like anything else, fixing one problem may only reveal another.

Re: My dyn-DNS adress get me to my routers gui!
Ok, thank you for all help!
I am pretty happy with the server now, it works correctly internally and that's the most important. Can access it via vpn externally which solves some of the external problems. Maybe not the easiest way but it works.
This is my second installation started with Amahi 7 but never got Greyhola to work. And there wasent that much apps for Amahi 7 that I had expected. So I installed Amahi 6 with ubuntu instead. Felt better with a graphical GUI for the OS.
How is it now with Amahi 7 do GreyHole works out of the box?
Is there a list of working apps for Amahi 7?
Can I install with the same installatins code and account again?
Can I remove my previous installation and accounts and start out fresh with a new one?
What happens with those apps I've paid for are those linked to the account?

No change with Greyhole. It may be a while before it's integrated as in Amahi 6.How is it now with Amahi 7 do GreyHole works out of the box?
There is not a list. You would have to check the app store to see if the ones you want are LIVE for Fedora 19.Is there a list of working apps for Amahi 7?
Yes providing the other HDA is decommissioned. Can I install with the same installatins code and account again?
You can remove the HDA profile and create a new one using the same account. No gain in removing the account, only the HDA profile. Can I remove my previous installation and accounts and start out fresh with a new one?
Providing you don't change accounts, once you buy an app it's yours forever. If you do change accounts, we could possibly move things over to the new one but it's a lot of work on our part. What happens with those apps I've paid for are those linked to the account?

Re: My dyn-DNS adress get me to my routers gui!
I found the error. It was as simple as I had the wrong DNS server on the NIC settings. DNS server nr1 is supposed to be localhost (192.168.1.10) then the server is its own DNS server. So instead of asking him self he asked the OpenDNS which obviously does not know this (nslookup hda). So damn simple once you find it.

Re: My dyn-DNS adress get me to my routers gui!
That's too funny. Glad you sorted it out.
