dhcp lease problem

Postby curtis » Thu Sep 20, 2012 12:46 pm

Hi, All

My router dchp is set to off and has a I.P. address of 192.168.1.1 and my HDA is 192.168.1.10. The problem is it gives out only one I.P address which is always 192.168.1.100 to the first computer that logs on. My other 3 computers are connect to my HDA and can acces it but do not show up on dhcp leases.
Also, whenever I turn off the first computer that logs on my HDA and refresh the dhcp server it still show the first computer as being connected. any ideas to whats happening?

Check the network info for each computer and see what it's receiving as an IP. Also pay attention to the DNS server which should be the HDA IP.

Let us know what you find.
