I tried it on a other Windows 7 machine today but with the same results as my notebook. No profiles and i have to execute logon.bat manually. :(

marcel....
drop your windows firewall to see if this helps. i've also tweaked a few local security policies which i can give you if the firewall drop doesn't work.

Hi Lou1z,

Dropped the firewall, and again no success... no profiles, no drive mappings...

Did some testing and reading on the internet, but i also think we need versie 3.4.3 or Samba. There is already a stable release of version 3.4.3 on the site of Samba. Is possible to update Samba manually to 3.4.3?

marcel, knock the firewall off so it doesn't start on boot.

try this:
try....
control panel>admin tools>local security settings>local security policy

1. network security: set lanman manager to: send lm and ntlm responses
2. network security: set minimum session security for ntlm ssp clients to: disable 128bit security

reboot and see what happens. mine is working sweet now on 3.4.2 but it was a struggle.

that is really strange. everything appears ok. have you any other security software etc running eg that stops scripts executing etc?
it definetely runs on x64 with 3.4.2 although the quicker we get 3.4.3 the better.
