Fedora 12 repo test release - new installer!!

Postby cpg » Fri Nov 20, 2009 6:32 am

Hi!

Give it a try. No kisckstart suport at the moment!

Surprise surprise! The brand-spanking-new installer method looks like it may be ready!

It's called: amahi-installer but it's web driven

Please report back!
(you still will have to reinstall - as there is a new big change coming)

Just installed amahi f12 with the new installer (virtualbox) and it works great. Also tried some web-apps (Joomla, Explorer, Drupal). They are running. Actually i want to install this on a physical test machine... and test this intensive. Have to take a look in the garage for some old hardware.

Can anyone point me to where I can get the Fedora 12 installer? I have a spare machine that I'd like to try some installs on and I have just downloaded the latest Fedora 12 DVD but I can't find the installer or procedures on how to proceed. I've done several installs in the past and wanted to give it another shot.

Thanks,

Buzzsaw

Install went good. Some apps need to be updated but other than that not too bad!
