Can we change the root password at this point with only an edit to the hdactl script? (I see password is a variable there).

When will we see setting the password as part of the base install?

We DO need to tighten up some security holes here.

that's scheduled for the 5.0 release along with Fedora 11 support ... coming up after the 4.1 release we're actively trying to release this week.
