Need help with completing SuperSync Amahi app.

Postby supersync » Fri Mar 14, 2014 11:16 am

Hi All,

I am the developer for SuperSync, a cross-platform app to help move music, videos, and playlists to and from your computer to another computer or your Amahi box. We do this with a nice UI (on your desktop machine) so you can merge all your iTunes content from multiple machines to your Amahi.

I have an Amahi app template called "supersync" starting to fill in, but there are some blanks... I need help getting it compete so that it works as a real Amahi app.

Currently, to install:
ssh into amahi:

wget http://supersync.com/downloads/beta/sup ... noarch.rpm
yum install supersync-0.2-1.noarch.rpm

Then point your browser to http://AMAHI_HOST:5360/

You should see a web interface showing your Amahi music collection with a player.

Click on admin tab, use the default user/pass admin/admin.

Once that is working, you can try the desktop client. Get a copy for Mac and/or PC from http://supersync.com.

Run SuperSync, and go to "Remote Menu: Connect to Server" You should see your Amahi SuperSync listed. If not, you can "Connect to server" and enter the AMAHI_HOST into the connect to dialog.

From there, you should be able to see a merged version of your iTunes and Amahi libraries. Anything that is green is in both libraries. Blue tracks are on the Amahi and you can "get". Gray tracks are only on your desktop, and can be "put".

Playlists can be sent to the Amahi..

That's it for now. Please let me know if you have any questions and let me know if I need to make changes to add it as an actual Amahi App that can be added to the Amahi App Gallery.
