Hi, we are now working on packaging Amahi 7 (what we have) for Fedora 18! Pretty exciting!
We have started documenting the procedure in the Fedora 18 wiki page.
Please test and report issues and such in this thread ... thanks!

Re: Amahi 7 for Fedora 18 pre-alpha
Followed wiki guidance and only dependency issue so far is hda-platform missing. Once that is available, we should know more.

Only 32-bit is under development. Once it is stable we will work 64-bit.
Check wiki link as mentioned in initial post for details.

Re: Amahi 7 for Fedora 18 pre-alpha
Thanks
my mistake as I was thinking that only 64bit was going to be used the same as F17.
I have now install under 32bit and the only thing missing is hda-platform.
how far away is hda-platform from testing
Regards

Re: Amahi 7 for Fedora 18 pre-alpha
Hi, we have done a large amount of changes in the last few hours!
The installer should probably finish the install now and ask for a reboot!
We have updated the Fedora 18 wiki with new direction, tips, etc.
It looks like all the major subsystems are running and in place! Not the platform, tho. Seems like httpd is not configured properly yet?
Please report!

Looks like /var/hda/plaform/logs directory is missing. Once added, do:
The web server will start, but goes to default apache web page. It appears httpd.conf still needs some work. I did notice one line for /var/www/html still uncommented.
Code: Select all
service httpd restart
