Its really great work, but what about adding more options into the users-area. Just like in freenas, where people can specifiy the SSH Public Key, Shell and enable/disable password logins.

Hi stern88! ... ssh keys are a must for me (more so since we want to offer Amahi hosted in the cloud). As for the rest, I think maybe some under advanced settings, because we do not want to make this area way too complex.

Now ... ideally we would have support for apps that load as plugins in amahi 7, though I am not sure yet if we can put all this in in time for the Amahi 7 release. This would allow more people to add things easily and over time grow with customizations.
My HDA: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz on MSI board, 8GB RAM, 1TBx2+3TBx1

Yes, great! But some users might get the idea of forwarding port 22 to their amahi-box. And maybe they dont know about that many, many ssh-scripts outside. So it might be a god idea to have a secure configured ssh-server as standard. Dont forget: Amahi aims to linux-newbies

This ssh-server should be secure and internet-proofed. It should set "passwordAuth = No" and should have a list of AllowUsers.
