some new users/installs are having issues:

Table 'demo_development.settings' doesn't exist

we're still investigating why this happens to *some* new installs ...

we're tracking it in bug #214 - Table 'demo_development.settings' doesn't exist.

it appears that this issue is fixed by the latest updates that we have released to the repos.

however, there may be some frustrated people out there that the update may not help.

it helps for new installs mostly.
