f14 VM for an amahi testing

Postby xe11os » Fri Feb 04, 2011 8:25 pm

Hey all,
I have been working as requested by cpg on creating a F14 VM so that it could decrease the time it takes to do the initial amahi install if we wanted to test things from scratch. I found this entire process to be, needless to say, entirely drawn out. After recreating a proper build environment for what I normally package my VMs as appliances, for some reason F14 was giving me trouble. I don't know if it was just me being slow or preoccupied, but the end result was me obtaining a F14 prepackaged appliance. I am going to host this F14 VM on a high speed server so it can be downloaded if you wish.

However that being said, I would like to investigate a run on logon script to help do an auto install of amahi to help you guys with debugging / speed up the redeployment times. VMs are great especially if you take a snapshot at the beginning and just revert. If you would like me to make any changes to this initial appliance please let me know and it can be done.

Thanks for all that you do,
-X
