Anyone worked up an webapp for mailman?

It would be a nice addon to the Amahi mail server.

I just tried using yum install mailman AFTER running the Amahi mail install script and got the following output:

This:

** Found 8 pre-existing rpmdb problem(s), 'yum check' output follows

Is why I don't like programs installed with rpm rather than yum. Yum does a decent job of keeping all the dependencies straight and you deviate from it and then get problems.

Have you tried phpList? It looks like it would have similar functionality to mailman unless I am missing something.

Was totally unfamiliar with it! Missed it, or conveniently forgot about it from when I read through the list of apps. This may well work for one client that is currently dying with their ISP on sending out mailings to 2000 customers. But I HAVE to have it come from their domain. What we have done with the Amahi mail app, I can easily take over as his domain mail server.

But phpList is NOT a replacement for mailman; it does not have mail discussion groups. I need that too for a number of projects. Plus I can see family and friends mailing lists be easily maintained with mailman.

What I have read in the mailman docs so far show it will be a challenge to integrate into Amahi. I have to support its cgi-bin scripts with a fair amount of user customization...
