Hi everyone,
I am running Amahi now for a couple of months and everything works brilliant. But I want to create some backup. I still do have a Synology DS-107+ NAS. This one is located outside my house but still on my LAN. The Synology is capable of making backups via RSYNC. It has a nice GUI to create the backup tasks, you can test your connection. Excellent!!!
But I want to RSYNC some folders from the Amahi to the Synology. So RSYNC needs to be installed on the Amahi server so the Synology can connect to it and create backups.
Is there someone who can explain me how to get the Amahi server RSYNC compatible? just to be sure, I do not need a gui or commandline programming on the Amahi side. This can be done by the Synology Diskstation.
Regards,
Jens

See the topic just below your own in the forum. It's addressed there.

I read that topic. But it says nothing about installing RSYNC. How do I do this?
