SOLVED: Connection Refused

Hi Guys,

I have installed ownCloud and I can access the ownCloud web page without any problem. I have no installed the client and entered the hda IP address however I always get the message...

Failed to connect to ownCloud:
Connection refused.

Any help would be appreciated.

Doh!!!

I used the mighty google to search for help but had no success. Forgot all about the dedicated Amahi WIKI!

Hi Guys,

Given my success with Greyhole and brimming with confidence, I am trying to get ownCloud working.

So far, I have installed ownCloud and left everything completely unchanged from installation. If I try to connect using the ownCloud Connection Wizard in Windows 7, I get the message..
Failed to connect to ownCloud:
Connection refused.

Trying to connect from my android phone, I see the message:
Server instance not found.

For info, the ownCloud webpage on my local network works fine. Any ideas where to start?

It was very simple actually.

While trying to connect I kept entering the IP Address. This didn't work. As soon as I entered the URL to be identical to the ownCloud web interface, it worked.

As I said, a blonde moment.
