Hello,

A couple problems I don't know how to fix. (Ubuntu 12.04)

1- I checked out the control panel today and the Server Status says "Stopped" (Red dot). not sure why as apart from problem #2, the server seems to be running fine -- at least locally.
(From the HDA : returns , with the right IP. So everything seems rather fine, but I'm not an expert)
This might not be a significant problem (?), as long as #2 isn't related :

2- The reason I checked the control panel is that I the iOS amahi app isn't working anymore (it stopped working a long while ago, can't remember when -- many months ago). My hda server name appears, but it's greyed out, even after login in and out, restarting the device, etc.

I also checked out my dash board : Amahi Anywhere Server appears to be running.
(I stopped it and restarted it. Seems fine, but my iOS app still shows a greyed out hda.)

Also note the my visible shares have been marked as visible (also created another one as a test -- HDA name in Amahi anywhere is still greyed out)

Any ideas?

Could be there were updates that have caused it to no longer work as designed.

We no longer support Ubuntu. Recommend you upgrade to the latest version, #Amahi 10 on Fedora 25.

Thanks for your answer and sorry for the late reply.
Yes, I'll eventually upgrade, when time allows it.
At least it works locally, so I'll leave it for now.

(I try to not touch the server, as much as possible. A "set up and forget it" plan, so that it can serve its purpose without causing frustrations. Upgrades/rebuilding the system are really last recourse solutions. I never really know if an upgrade will go well. And if not, a whole day -- or more -- is gone... )
