I'm running Ubuntu version of Amahi 6.
My motherboard has failed, booting isn't possible anymore.
I've got my OS drive, and 3 storage drives. Is there any harm in plugging the OS drive into another motherboard and booting up?
I ran the upgrade script a while ago, perhaps I can use this fail to move to the latest version of Amahi.

Re: Failed Motherboard
It should but you may have to make some minor tweaks to the OS.
You might want to check out the post-install hardware change wiki guidance.

Awesome! Pity I'm too lazy in the first place, that new server has sat there for 12 months now!

Re: Failed Motherboard
Just for anyone reading this, plugging my OS into completely different hardware has worked fine. Everything is intact and running so far as I can see. Greyhole is functional as before. No problem.
