SOLVED: Squeeezebox server outside the network

Postby pluscool » Wed Apr 24, 2013 12:21 am

One of the cool things about Squeezebox on Amahi is that you can enjoy your music not only in your HDA network but outside through internet to any computer with SqueezePlay installed. I have been using it for years now.

I'm migrating from Fedora to Ubuntu. Installed Squeezeboxserver-app inside my network all OK. no luck from outside the HDA network. :?:

I can't see the server at user.yourhda.com:9001(0) nor connect remotely to my software player "SqueezePlay" at work
I have forwarded TCP and UDP port 3483 (for Squeezeplay); and TCP port 9000 and 9001 (for squeezeboxserver) as before in Fedora. Any ideas?
