Amahi DNS server is not updating IP

Dear All,
How can I force the DNS server to update its IP database?
I have a crappy DNS connection and the modem freezes couple of times a day...recives new IP address. The DNS server of my ISP can follow imedietely but it takes my HDA about half an hour.
