SSL Access

Hi
I am trying to setup SSL on my Ubuntu 12.04 Hda.
I have tried following this wiki http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Secure_App_Access but its for Fedora.
The path /etc/httpd/conf does not exist on my machine neither does the file /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
Can someone point me to the correct path and files, as I realy don't want to break my Hda.
Thanks :D

This is not a recommended modification to the HDA. I have tried it in the past and had issues. When trying to expose apps outside the network, it causes problems.

If you still want to do so, look in /etc/apache2 for apache2.conf file.

No guarantee this will not mess up your HDA, so if you are not an advanced user I urge you proceed with extreme caution. The documented process for Fedora 14 was tested, but cannot say with any certainty that it has been on Ubuntu.

Thanks for the reply Bigfoot65 I am going to take your advice and leave alone.
Might setup a test box and play with that.
Thanks.

Probably best as no one likes having to reinstall because they broke the HDA modifying configuration files. Sometimes reversing it works, but not always.

There is not really anything gained by doing the SSL unless you are accessing it from outside your network without VPN in my opinion.
