That is odd that the issue is still there. I don't have that problem. Did you follow the instructions at http://docs.amahi.org?

Yeah, I mean, installation is a simple process that's impossible to mess up.

I just decided to not use greyhole. I'm just manually allocating shares based on how much space I know each place takes up. Disappointing, but I really don't want to manually change the ownership of the pointers every time I upload files.

I'm kinda wishing I had just stuck with fedora a few months ago instead of switching over to Ubuntu.

Hmmmm....wonder what the problem could be. I do know that Greyhole has been updated recently. Amahi does not update it automatically, so you could try that.

I am using Fedora myself. I have a VM server and I can switch between Fedora and Ubuntu as I choose for the HDA. Both use the same physical drives for Greyhole.

If there is anything you can provide from the logs, we can try to sort it out. Check the install log and system logs in /var/log as well.
