The leases file for Ubuntu is a known issue.
http://bugs.amahi.org/issues/976
Unfortunately, Ubuntu does not do this very well. It holds all leases in a file, valid or expired and only purges occasionally.
We are exploring other options for rendering the DHCP leases in the HDA. In the short term, you can install Linfo app and there is an option to display DHCP leases. It seems to do a good job with active and inactive as well.

No, that is a new one. Have you rebooted? Please check the logs for errors.

Re: So after two days
Not sure what log I should be looking at ?
Re: So after two days
I would look at all logs in /var/log directory. I just filed a bug as I cannot create a web app. I receive http error 500.

Feel free to add to it with your specifics. BTW, is this a new install of Ubuntu?

Re: So after two days
I have had my install since ubuntu was released to the public I have setup other webapps before hand with no problems.I did do some updates this week (no sure what they were now)I am thinking that might of broke it?
I also had a problem with hdactl where it did not start up properly I was trying to assign a static ip but for some reason it was not working until I restart hdactl.

Re: So after two days
Probably right, something updated whether it be the Amahi or the OS that is causing the issues. Please add your details to the bug report. It will help us sort out the issue.

I was just about to post my log but looks like you have done yours already , I am getting the same permissions -group apache [117] -owner www-data [33]
Re: So after two days
Cool...so we are experiencing the exact same behavior. It does not affect new installs, so now to figure out how to fix it for old ones.
