Hi, we have a new version with a number of updates and cleanups that ought to help with reliable updates, permissions, better install (removal of apparmor), etc.

To install use the install script in instead of the regular u12 repo.

Please report here how it goes!

Thanks to eFfeM for the help in getting some of these patches through.

It has not been thoroughly tested (duh) so please provide details, especially pointers to pastes of the logs!

So far I have done two installs.

In one of them I lost network somewhat early on and then the install failed with an error.

Even though the second install appears to have worked, this seems to indicate that we still have the issue of networking loss in there. Will continue investigating, but we really need to nail this one to increase the rate of install success!

ok, 5 installs later and only 1 fail so far. not great, but better.

i will have to give this a shot this weekend.

been away from the forums due to health and work issues.

ready to rebuild my HDA....:p
