Good questions. I am unsure, but I bet the answer lies within the internet. If I find anything, I will pass it along.
I do not use the app, but might be some good guidance to add to the wiki. I presume you have already looked there.

Re: Sickbeard and SabNZB+
Actually I have not looked through the wiki thoroughly for awhile.
What I plan on doing soon, is sharing all my findings here or the wiki. I made notes on how to get sickbeard and sabnzb to work together nicely.
I also created on for minidlna. I had issues with that working again as well after doing my new install but found a way not posted here to get to work.

Re: Sickbeard and SabNZB+
Sounds good. Recommend you post in the wiki and include the URL to that page here. No use in doubling the work
What issue did you have with minidlna? I have been using it since we went to Ubuntu with no problems. I am using Greyhole as well.

Re: Sickbeard and SabNZB+
Like I said, I did a fresh install of all OS/Amahi and apps. I got sickbeard/sabnzb to work and move items into \\hda\files\Movies\TV_SHows
So as things were getting added, nothing was showing up on my PS3. Even though files were there.
I restarted minidlna, and waited a few minutes but nothing was showing up.
So I stopped app and did the following...
create a folder in the “/var/cache/" called minidlna
set permission to “nobody | users” on the folder
Uncomment cache folder in /etc/minidlna.conf
db_dir=/var/cache/minidlna
started up minidlna
Once I did that, the TV shows i downloaded started to appear. Even new ones I added afterwards were showing up.
This was my quick fix

Re: Sickbeard and SabNZB+
Interesting. We may want to add that to the app. Did you find that in a tutorial somewhere?

Re: Sickbeard and SabNZB+
hmmm
found another issue with sickbeard
I rebooted the server, and now when i try access sickbeard website its asking me for a username and password.
I tried a few combinations but they did not work.
I looked in the /etc/init.d/sickbeard file for a username and password but could not find anything either
any ideas

Re: Sickbeard and SabNZB+
Odd. Wonder if an update added something. Try sickbeard/sickbeard or admin/admin. We did not impose anything that I recall.

Re: Sickbeard and SabNZB+
I already tried those passwords and neither of them worked. I was thinking of setting it manually in the config file. I will have do research on how to enter that in the config file. hopefully that will work

Re: Sickbeard and SabNZB+
Might consider checking the author's web site. Maybe they have some guidance there about it.

Re: Sickbeard and SabNZB+
Hi,
To fix this try the below
In SABnzbd to to "Folders"
then complete
"Permissions for completed downloads" 777
I don't know much about permissions, so I just went with 777
Cheers,
Dan
