Transmission Server not running ...

just installed Transmission on Ubuntu 12.04 on the app page it's green saying it works on Ubuntu 12.04..... but i can't get it to work ?

I will check it out. Last time I tested it, was working fine. Please check the app instal log for errors.

That's an API error. Suggest you clear your browser cache and close it. Might need to reboot the HDA before trying the install again.

I just tested on a VM and it worked just fine for me. Do you have a slow connection?

up date . i can get the Transmission web app to load..... but the Transmission Server is still not running ?

If the web app is working, then the server is running. The Dashboard status of the server may not be correct. I recommend you disregard it.

We are having some issues with the server feature and are working to correct them.

EDIT: I modified the app and it should now show the server as running. I don't think the start/stop is working though. That will take some more work.

EDIT #2: There does not appear to be a way to work this for Ubuntu, so I have removed the server from the Dashboard. If you need to start, stop, or check status then it will need to be done from CLI.

can anyone confirm transmission "auto start downloading" working on Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit ... i can't get to work at all i can load the web ui but that's it .... thank you
