You may have a bad install. I presume this is a fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04 following the Amahi instructions. If not, please tell us how you did the install.
The log is in /root and called hda-install....log that might help as well.

Here is a link to the file... I just dropped it in drob box.... I had to copy and past it into a new file because root wouldn't let me get it out...

The log appears ok. There are some things listed that I am unsure about though. Have you tried rebooting and then installing the apps again?
This might require us to take a closer look if you are willing. It would consist of the boss accessing your box via SSH to diagnose.

I am going to uninstall them reboot and then install to see if that helps... in the mean time i am starting a new virtual machine to see if i can get by it.. If i get the same errors i will let him in.

Got it working on the new Virtualized Machine. Worked First Install... Thanks for the help guys...

Good to hear. There must have been something wrong with the previous install.
