Ubuntu Stable Released

Postby prodriguezii » Wed Jul 04, 2012 2:31 pm

Happy 4th of July, team Amahi. I'm super excited that the stable release is here for our downloading and installing pleasure. While I love a good weekend spent tinkering, I need to know it'll be worth it...

I installed the Ubuntu beta June 23 and it has worked marvelously. I installed MythTV on top of it and got MythWeb to play nice. Is my setup going to blow up if I decide not to reinstall the new release? Or might I be lucky enough to be able to simply perform an upgrade and have any changes applied automatically?

Thank you for your help!

You should have the same success as you did previously. Unfortunately, due to some install script modifications you will have to reinstall it all. Sorry, there is no upgrade path unfortunately.

Best to do a fresh Ubuntu install followed by Amahi. Hope you enjoy the updates and please do not hesitate to report any bugs.
