Sorry for the long posts and thanks for the info.
No worries.
You were not directly advising me to implement the patch manually, weren't you?
You can do the following command:

Code: Select all

sudo rpm -Uvh URL FROM BUG REPORT
This will give you the latest test package, which often is the final production package.

If you prefer not to, then you will need to wait for the new file to be tested and released to the repo. Could be a few days or so, depending on when I can squeeze it in.

Hi,

Test results are positive!

I uninstalled and reinstalled Greyhole UI using the Amahi Dashboard. I had not made any manual updates or installs.

Before Greyhole UI reinstall:

rpm -q samba amahi-greyhole
samba-4.5.14-0.fc25.x86_64
amahi-greyhole-0.10.14-1.x86_64

After reinstall:

rpm -q samba amahi-greyhole
samba-4.5.14-0.fc25.x86_64
amahi-greyhole-0.10.15-1.x86_64

The system is now working fine. Tested scenarios:
  • One and two pools
  • Starting from empty share (LZ) and pool(s)
  • Started with empty share (LZ) but with complete pool(s) and rebuild LZ via FSCK
  • Started with complete share (LZ) but with empty pool(s) and rebuild pool(s) via FSCK
No Amahi automatic update had happened yet. It is still:

uname -a
Linux nas.home.hu 4.13.16-100.fc25.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Nov 27 19:52:46 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Thanks for the patch! Possibly this can be closed.
