SOLVED: New files cannot be seen by users

When I copy a new file to one of my shares, others cannot see it. If another add a file to a share, they are suceed, but after refresh, they can no longer see the file. The file is in the share and I can see it.

All files created more than 4-6 weeks ago can be seen by anyone. Not sure what might have changed. Las reboot was 60 days ago

From the Amahi settings page for the share, If I click "Get the size", I get some errors saying du cannot access certain files and it is all the files the users cannot see.

Things I've checked:
Linux permissions - all files (/var/hda/files/tv/folder)are owned by my amahi/linux user (not root)
Ran greyhole fsck against the TV path

Fedora 23
Amahi 9.0.0-1
Core 7.0.0-1
greyhole 0.10.6

How are you copying files to the share?

Linux permissions - all files (/var/hda/files/tv/folder)are owned by my amahi/linux user (not root)

Recommend you reset permissions to ensure they are correct. See storage and file sharing.

Files are always added through the share from a windows client.

Are you saying reset the Share permission by clicking the screwdriver/wrench icon? I did that and will have someone test.

Yes that button resets permissions. Hopefully that helped.

Check that the share is marked visible to all users in the Dashboard.

It is visible. The Users can see the share and access older files. Not newer ones.

Quite a typo in my previous post (now => not) is fixed. No, the issue is not resolved. I'm really stumped.

I am running out of ideas.

Are these files in a share that is Greyhole enabled? Are the users who cannot see files HDA users?
