I had a hard drive fail (I assume since the BIOS does not recognize it). I have removed it from fstab to clear up any boot issues, but I am still receiving an error during boot. I have been unable to find where it trying to mount. The only info I have is from a screenshot of the emergency log. It lists the uuid from a dev-disk-by has timed out although doing a "ls" of that folder it is not located. What I am missing? I'm messed with it for a couple hours and need a fresh look. I haven't seen anything online other than the fstab suggestion which I have completed. the "mount" command does not produce any errors. Is there something Amahi specific I am missing? I know it shouldn't be this hard. Also move to the Noob section if this is too NOOBISH!

What error did you receive before removing it from /etc/fstab?
Is the drive still plugged into the HDA?

I saw a comreset fail no.16 which led me to the failed drive. I have physically removed the drive.

Are you using Greyhole?
Was this drive part of the storage pool?
If so, you need to remove it from there as well.

Well it wouldn't let me since it didn't think it existed. For whatever reason, after a good sleep, it has decided to work. It booted directly into Amahi and not emergency mode.
Is there anyway to check for boot errors?

That's good to hear.
You can see any boot errors.
Look for /var/log/boot.log.
I presume we can consider this closed now.
