Hi,

I have searched the forum to see if there is a resolution to the permission issue of mount shares locally script and apps like SAB or Gallery.

Have not found anything conclusive.

Do we have a procedure that will let me to mount greyhole shares locally and use SAB, SickBeard PLEX and Gallery to read / write to them?

The wiki article seems to be missing the script reffered to here:

https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Mount_ ... es_locally

Also on an unrelated topic my fresh install of Amahi 9 shows that server MariaDB Server is stopped. Should i be concerned? Things seem to work.

Thanks!

Not that I am aware. Be advised it may not be a good idea to have these apps read/write to Greyhole Shares. See What not to put in Greyhole Shares for more info.

It's not missing. The instructions state to replace a few lines with the ones in the wiki.

See bug 1802 for details.

Thank you for your reply;

Actually I beleive the work around for letting PLEX acces samba shares is already baked in in Amahi 9:

User "apachi" is in group "users" after installing PLEX so all works well.

Also: as I run into issues and seek resolution, where is an appropriate branch of forum to post?
