Looking at the logs I see an issue with the MariaDB server.

Did you change the MariaDB root password?

I do not recall changing any passwords, the only thing I did before I rebooted and it stopped working was add a couple of other users for each of my family to access my shares.

By the way, is Amahi supposed to remember your password after one login? I do not have to enter the password in any other time afterwards, and I do not know if that is a good thing.

Can you elaborate as to where you entered it.

Also check that MariaDB server is running.

Code: Select all

systemctl status mariadb

I entered my login into the web dashboard.

Everything looks fine.

As for the password, your browser must be caching it.

Check that Samba is running also. You can verify via the Dashboard in Settings, Server tab.

BTW if this issue persists, request you submit a bug report. Login using amahi.org credentials, then select Project followed by Platform. Finally select New Issue and add all pertinent details.

This will be best for trying to diagnose and resolve your issue.

Samba is running, according to the Dash. But MariaDB is NOT. I will look in MariaDB logs and see what is going on.

The dashboard indication that MariaDB is not running is a know issue. See bug 1802.

Please submit a bug report.

Submit a bug report regarding the MariaDB not showing as running, or Samba not working?
