Bear in mind I don’t really know what I’m talking about.
Just picked up a few buzz words...

I have a Kodi install on an Amazon Fire TV.
I am trying to use the Phoenix plugin to download content.
I have mapped the path to my Amahi NAS using SMB. Path OK, download does not work...

I have seen it recommended elsewhere I use NFS

My question is, will changing the Amahi server to use NFS effect the PLEX sever I also have running on the Amahi NAS?

It shouldn't. NFS can coexist with Samba.
