RESOLVED: Every week deleted files are restored

he guys,

for some reason about every week or so a lot of my deleted files are restored. It has been happening for quite some time now and getting really annoying.

seems to happen after the weekly fsck.

any advise?

Need more information. What version of Amahi and OS? What version of Greyhole? We cannot assist without background on the issue.

good point, sorry. I am running Amahi7.0 and no special version of Greyhole. so I guess the latest version that is currently made available for Amahi7.0

Not sure, but could be a problem with the version of Greyhole. We are releasing a new version this week I believe. That may fix the issue.

One other option is to post in the Greyhole area with the required information that gboudreau
requires and he may be able to assist.

ok, will do, because it just keeps on happening.

and more and more files that I delete seem to return.

Will make a topic in the greyhole area, cause its getting pretty annoying.

Have you updated to the latest version, 0.9.60? That might help.

I have been reviewing settings in the /etc/greyhole.conf file the past few days. I wonder if one of those settings is causing this behavior. I presume you empty the trash occasionally, right?

I did not update manually, but I guess I am just "up to date" automatically?

Have you tried the new Greyhole UI application for Amahi 7?

It has a convenience fee, but has proven to be well worth the cost. One user in the forums could not get things working, after helping him for days he installed the application and now it all works.
