I'm not sure what I did wrong. I recently installed HDA, set up greyhole, and copied over 2+ TBs from my win7 machine using Robocopy. Maybe I set an odd flag in RoboCopy, but now I cannot edit any files. I can still read from all win7 machines, plus the PS3, squeezebox, etc.
My shares (which are also the greyhole landing zone, hoping that is correct) are here:
/var/hda/files/drives/drive2/
Permissions are 775 for the folders and files seem to be 764. If I try to chmod either the files or directories to say 777, i get a "Read-only file system" error.
Basically, I want to be able to add more files to my hda - not sure if I buggered things up in Greyhole, with Share permissions, or something else. I tried lots of things to get greyhole working - thought I had it since I my initial copy over worked, but I guess I'm not quite there.
Help appreciated!
Permissions - read-only file system
Re: Permissions - read-only file system
Ensure the drive lines in /etc/fstab are correct. Did you use hda-diskmount and follow the guidance in the wiki?
