cannot see shares

I have installed amahi/fedora 14 . I am not able to see my shares on xp-pro machine ...I enter network places type \\hda and I get an error windows cannot find "\\hda". check the spelling and try again, or try serching for the item by clicking the start button and then clicking search. .........at this time im stuck not sure what to do and yes I have tried the wiki and google....with no luck any help is appreciated ...thx in advance

Suggest you try the Shares Troubleshooter.

Have you turned off the DHCP/DNS server functionality on your router? The HDA should be allowed to perform that function for everything to work correctly.

Also, ensure you have enabled Advanced Settings in the Settings Tab. This will allow you to change the Work Group in the Shares area. It should match the Work Group for your client to achieve best results.
