Transmission won't start

I purchased and installed the app for transmission, but I can't get it to start. It's set to start on reboot, so I even tried rebooting the entire server, and it's still not running. I know just barely enough in the shell to get myself in trouble, so if I need to SSH into the box, you may need to be very specific in what I need to look for or do.

If possible, can you stop by the IRC channel Amahi? Select Live Help from your HDA dashboard and we can troubleshoot it live.

I reinstalled my server, and still no go. I thought I may had gummed up the works when I tried to download and install transmission myself before purchasing the app from the store. Even on a fresh install it won't start. I'll jump on the IRC and see if I can get a hold of you.
