Special Characters (äöü) support

Hey guys!

Have been running Amahi for a few weeks now and I am LOVING IT!

However I did come across a little problem with the Samba Shares.
Namely filenames with a Special Character like "ä,ö,ü" are renamed to something like IENDO****
This ofcourse makes it very difficult to search Movies/Music from those shares because they can be read BUT are all renamed.

I´m self half Finnish and half German meaning my music collection does have a few Special Character ;)

Does anyone know a workaround how to get the Locales working?
And is Amahi running UTF-8 by default?

Thanks for all help in advance!

Hi, I'm having a similar problem myself. I use my HDA primarily as a music file server, and am having trouble primarily with the Swedish bands in my collection that use these special characters. In Windows 7 it will say that the file is too large (being a 5 MB MP3), or if copied directly through iTunes it will give it's own error. Is there any way to add special character support, as is this is limiting the functionality of the server?
