Hi,
got the same problem with my HDA (fedora 14 with Amahi). Seems like this problem startet about a year ago. All worked fine until about March last year (thats when I first experienced the problem).
If I copy large number of pictures or some movies (200 Mb+) i get problems. Even on file of 500 Mb+ might lead to lost connection.
I find this information in the messages file (/var/log/messages).

Will this script solve the issue for me? Link
Thanks in advance for all help. :-)

I think that script will not help. It could be a weak network driver or a hardware issue or a cabling connection issue.

This is too far into the past to diagnose, sorry.

However, thanks for being a long-term Amahi user! ;)

Well, check out the latest installation instructions ... Amahi 7 is our latest release at this time and it's based on Fedora 19.

I had similar issues with my HP MediaSmart ex475. The internal gigabit NIC would choke on transfers. I could never figure out what the issue was. Originally I thought it was disk issues but after ruling that out, I realized it had to be NIC driver issues. I ended up ordering a gigabit USB adapter from Amazon for $20 and it solved all my issues...

That is often the case. Could be that the appropriate driver was not loaded for the NIC. Only way to avert this problem is use the full DVD install for Fedora 19 with Amahi.

The Express CD does not appear to have all drivers as the DVD does, hence the smaller size.
