File shares access
Re: File shares access
You can remove the initial user. You have to log in as the original user to the HDA dashboard and make another user admin. Then log out and log back in with the new user who is the admin. The new user can remove the admin from the original user and then delete it.

Re: File shares access
No, it makes sense that you can't delete the user you are currently logged in as. I logged in as the new user I created and deleted the original user. I'm still not sure as to why I was never able to access my shares with my original user, maybe it was something to do with a capital letter in the username like radioz suggested. I noticed when I would log in to the hda dashboard with my original user, the username had a capital S, but in the user tab under setup it was all lowercase. I don't know if that is anything or not, but my new user is all lowercase and I can access everything with no problems. Anyway, thanks for the help guys, this has been driving me crazy.
