Creating a new share didn't create a new directory

Postby BigMcLargeHuge » Sun May 02, 2010 8:20 pm

I created a new share on my HDA called 'torrents' via the Setup page at http://hda. I tried to connect to it, but it was causing me problems, so I tried to see if I could write to the directory. To my surprise, the directory didn't exist! I want to know if making the directory manually with the command 'mkdir torrents' was the correct thing to do. Also, does anyone have an idea as to why that would happen? The only thing that I can think of is that I have installed Fedora on a single harddrive and have a raid 5 mounted at /var/hda/files where I store my shares...
