SOLVED: changing name of drive

Postby kikkegek » Mon Sep 28, 2020 2:48 am

hello,

I'm about to upgrade my Amahi 7 installation to Amahi 11. I'm using Greyhole for my storagepool and want to change the name of the last drive I added (4TB WD drive).

This is my current fstab:

#
# /etc/fstab
# Created by anaconda on Wed Aug 7 20:59:41 2013
#
# Accessible filesystems, by reference, are maintained under '/dev/disk'
# See man pages fstab(5), findfs(8), mount(8) and/or blkid(8) for more info
#

I'd like to change the drive name from "WD_RED_4TB" to "drive4" and mount it like the other drives.
I need some help to change this. How can this be done from the command line?

And I noticed this drive also is mounted different then the rest. Should I change that too while I change the name? Would also need some help to change this please.

Recommend you take a look at changing Greyhole mount points in the wiki.
