RAID set-up

Is it possible to configure RAID mirroring after installation of Amahi? I have three drives, one with the install and two 1T drives with nothing on them, but which are already mounted. I wanted these configured as RAID, but the instructions for this entire process are NOT as user friendly as you LINUX guys intended.

It may be possible but we don’t provide support for setting up RAID.

Maybe someone in the community can assist.

Have you considered using Greyhole?

I'm looking for a no-cost solution.

Greyhole is free.

Is it possible to run the fedora set-up in such a way as to get only my shared folders onto a separate drive? If so, could I then delete the shares, configure a RAID1 drive set-up, and then recreate my shares on that RAID?

You can add a second drive and move the shares to it.

I never understand why home users want to use RAID. If you want file redundancy, you can get that from Greyhole.

RAID was designed for corporate use, not so much for home users.

I have yet to figure out how to access Greyhole and don't plan on spending $25 on the UI.

There is wiki guidance for doing a manual setup of Greyhole.
