Sticky files

Postby thejekocomputer » Tue Apr 11, 2017 7:55 am

Dear all,
I need to remove from greyhole.conf the option for sticky file and I was wonder how to do correctly.

As I know I can't modify /etc/greyhole.conf directly, I have to work with /var/hda/platform/html/config/greyhole.yml but I want to be sure don't make any big mistake.

My question is:
is correct to change this lines:

## sticky_files and stick_into options can have special nested formatting. *indentation matters*
## see the details here http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Greyhol ... ed_options
# sticky_files:
# - - Music/

sticky_files:

leaving empty after the ":"?

Thank you in advance

Sergio

I would try commenting out all the Sticky files entries, then restart Greyhole.

Do you have any shares which are not used? If so, you could point it to that share.

I would think that if the line is missing in greyhole.yml, it would not be included in greyhole.conf.

Dear BigFoot65,
thank you for your support.

When you say "commenting out all the Sticky files entries" do you mean in the greyhole.conf file or in the greyhole.yml file?
I'm asking you because in the greyhole.yml are already all comment out.

Thank you

In the .yml file. If you are using greyhole-ui App, restarting Greyhole should regenerate that file.

If not, then you will need to comment them out in the .conf file too.
