Moving Data from old drives to new drives.

Postby Megabeast » Tue Jan 24, 2017 3:58 am

Hi There,

I have just migrated from Amahi 6 on Fedora 14 to Amahi 9 on Fed23.
I have installed and successfully accessed my old shares running on dual WD 2TB WD Caviar Greens.
I have also installed two new WD 4TB Red NAS drives and wish to move the data over.
I have not used the UI for Greyhole but followed the manual install methods described in the wiki and also checked the details on provisioning drives greater than 2TB.

All seems to have gone well, except that i'm not 100% clear from the wiki on the method to move the data from the old 2TB drives to 4TB drives.
Details from my system:

The following is the number of pending operations that the Greyhole daemon still needs to parse.
Until it does, the nature of those operations is unknown.
Spooled operations that have been parsed will be listed above and disappear from the count below.

Spooled 0

Hope the above detail helps
