I Don't understand enough to know whats wrong

Postby Mead » Fri Aug 26, 2016 2:33 pm

I don’t understand most of this, but I really need my drive pool to work. I have partitioned and formatted all of my pool drives using the Disk Wizard app. I have all of the shares selected in the Greyhole app (documents, pictures, movies,tv,music), and each are setup for maximum number of copies. I am not a very advanced user of linux, mainly a mac user, so troubleshooting in cli is tough. Please help, my windows based NAS is failing fast and I need a new home for my data.

When I try to access a share via Mac OS X 10.11, they shows up when I select my hda, but when I try to open one, it says that it doesn't exist.

Apache Web Server = RUNNING
MariaDB Server = STOPPED
File Server (Samba) = RUNNING
Greyhole Server = RUNNING

Please provide the following:

Code: Select all

apaste --sysinfo
Also have you run an fcsk via the Greyhole UI?

Has the server been rebooted since installation?

Also please attach results in a file vs the long post. Much easier to read. Can you revise your previous post?
