Question about Greyhole on single drive

Postby jasonmav » Thu Oct 15, 2015 7:08 am

I have an HDA with a OS drive and 1x3TB storage drive. I have setup greyhole with the expectation of adding more drives in the future. However, I no longer want to use greyhole and will be actually dismantling the whole server. Do i have to do anything prior to removing my storage drive and putting it into another PC?

No you should be able to just shut it down. All your files should be safe on the Greyhole drives. They will be in the /gh folders.

If there are any shares that were not using Greyhole, those files will be in the /var/hda/files/sharename folder.
