CLOSED: skip a share from fsck

Postby justright » Thu Sep 03, 2015 5:34 pm

Hello, just wondering if it is at all possible to skip fsck on a certain share or focus it at one particular share? I have changed copies on VIDEOS to allow writing on TV as my disks are full.

If you do the following, you will see the available options for Greyhole via command line:

Code: Select all

greyhole
I believe you would want to run:

Code: Select all

greyhole -f -d /var/hda/files/sharename

just to elaborate on this, i was trapped on a never ending fsck loop stuck on my TV share due to me copying files to the server running a fsck and then realizing i didnt have enough space for it. I then went and changed the amount of copies on the share after TV (videos) to compensate but the fsck wouldn't get past TV. I attempted a --cancel-fsck, tried to restart the greyhole server but all to no avail. the only thing that worked was adding another drive. Thanks for your input though bigfoot, i keep forgetting to look in --help
