so it's time to remove one drive but I don't know if I am going to replace it yet.
what happens if I uncheck that drive , through the GUI?

will that automatically call the following command?
"greyhole --going=/path/to/storage/pool/drive"

Good question and don't know the answer unfortunately.

I would say to be safe, execute the command. It can't hurt if it's already been run to do it again.

BTW, check the /var/log/greyhole.log file when you uncheck it to see if there is indication that the command has been run. I believe it records it there if so.

Looking at the code it looks like it does not kick off the command. This is a bug. If you can please file one in bugs.amahi.org. Under greyhole or apps if there is no greyhole project (I forget at the moment).

Thanks!

Hopefully we can get this one fixed before the release of Amahi 8.
